Good For You 05:02
Never did I expect to see someone like you knocking on my door Much less sitting there, but asking me what you're looking for And then you said to me, "Oh I know, I've heard that you are good" But trust me babe, I'm nowhere near as good, as good as you But oh I think this will do Oh it's good for you Making money I'm making friends, I'm making this music to get loud Helping out I'm spreading love, I'm changing the faces all around And when that fire is in the air, it's smiles that I can only see Maybe it's killing me but right now I'm living all about me But oh I think this will do Oh it's good for you So many faces that I see So many places that I've felt so free Your face alone, it lets me know the world may see eventually and positively

I think I'm falling to you, a strong pull toward your source A strong attraction to you, it sets its own course A strong attraction, you draw me in I come one inch closer to you Celestial bodies, rolling around Magnetic force, can't let me down A strong attraction, you draw me in I come one inch closer to you A million miles away Stationary we cannot stay The same force, the same source, you and I share Dark matter please go away so you and I can meet today Don't fight the feeling, I draw you in You're made of ice and dust, I'm filled with earth and lust A strong attraction, you draw me in I come one inch closer to you You count your blessings, I'll count my stars You be my Venus and I'll be your Mars A strong attraction, you draw me in I come one inch closer to you A million miles away Stationary we cannot stay The same force, the same source, you and I share Dark matter please go away so you and I can meet today I come one inch closer to you

The finest feeling in an ocean of waves I ask myself, will I ever be saved? From mistakes I thought lived in the past I face my future in a prism of melting glass I ask my cats, "hey does my hair look nice?" I strum some chords and they're missing a bit of spice Now I'm ready as I walk out the door I often wonder what are they fighting for Blinded fascination, conflicted meditation Any other way Power, motivation, submit pure, elation Any other way I'm so happy that maybe I'm sad This could be the worse guitar that I've ever had Eternity's not that really that long to wait If I could choose, I'd choose destruction over create Blinded fascination, conflicted meditation Any other way Power, motivation, submit pure elation Any other way

I'm starting to doubt evolution because I'm still here But I guess it doesn't matter if I'm loud I know I'll have fun These things in our hands well they're good for something I guess Not sure what it is yet but soon it will all make some sense All I gotta do is make some money People they ask me sometimes, how do I survive? I say I sold my body, sold my soul, I stay alive They say your music sounds alright maybe I'll buy a CD But if I were you, I'd just download it for free All I gotta do, is make some money
